Simulated tele-management for teaching medical students on primary health care managerial decision making

Introduction: Medical students are poorly prepared in health services management due to the use of traditional teaching methods, developed theoretical environments with poor active participation. Virtual simulated training is an innovative alternative learning process. Objective: This study aimed determine knowledge improvement managerial decision-making amongst medical at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos Peru, after a virtual training. Methods: A before-after cross-sectional design was undertaken among final year measure their knowledge. The simulation methodology used as component Externship clinical course which administrative dimension case such hypoacusis considered. Results: Of 79 participants, 48 (60.8%) were female and median age 25 years. There satisfaction level 3.8 performance score 17. post-test rank scores higher statistically significant than pre-test (p = 0.004); for males (p-value 0.05) females 0.03) also scores. Conclusion: non-clinical experience improves on decision making. It opens opportunities work issues courses, providing comprehensive experience. On other hand, it where adopts component.
